Loose Ends

  • Model XML itself is not currently being versioned (just configurations).
  • Backup path exception handling needs to be fixed. All exceptions are treated the same, whereas the specific errors coming from org.ziptie.net need to be mapped.
  • Add real support for retrying protocols and credentials.
  • Update all of the adapters to have a "shortName" element that provides a short name (25 characters) or less for the adapter. This is useful for the UI since the adapter ID is cryptic and is for most purposes internal knowledge.
  • UI not currently handling expired session or bounced server conditions with respect to authentication and cookie handling.
  • Windows Installer
  • Update the adapter service and the invoker to handle an adapter per plugin in ziptie.adapters.. format. See the existing plugins for ziptie.adapters.juniper.junos and ziptie.adapters.vyatta.ofr.
